RESERVATION ON TICKETPORTAL   

1) CREATE AN ACCOUNT   

You can create your account by registration if you click on ’Register now’ on the website www.ticketportal.hu.
You have also the possibility to sign up without canceling an already started ordering process, so you don’t need to go back to the homepage, we just have to click on ’Register now’. By registration you have to give your e-mail address, password and some personal data that are managed by Ticketportal according to the Privacy Policy.

In case of online purchase you will receive an e-invoice that contains the data given before. If you would like to receive another e-invoice because of some data changes, you have to pay extra fee according to the Terms and Conditions.
After filling out the form and clicking on ’next’ or ’OK’, you can finish the registration and you will be automatically logged in. You will receive a confirmation e-mail about the registration. If you already started an ordering process, you will be able to continue it after the successful registration.

2) HOW TO USE OUR WEBSITE: RESERVATION, PURCHASE, DELIVERY   

On our website the registered users have the opportunity to reserve tickets for events, performances. They can pay and pick up these tickets only personally at our retail outlets. Reservation for the Budapest Operetta and Musical Theatre’s performances is NOT possible in advance – at the request of the Theatre -, so users can get these tickets through our system only if they pay it online immediately.

Our users have the possibility to buy tickets through the internet as well if they give the data of their credit card. You can read more information about online purchase here, and about the terms of payment here. In case of online purchase our customers can choose the delivery method that is the most convenient for them: Shipping within Hungary in 3 days (2500 HUF, cca 10 €), posting to abroad (5000 HUF, cca 20 €), printing at home (HOMEticket) which is available free of charge for most of our events.

3) SELECTION OF THE TICKETS   

a) Before starting the process you should sign in our website by typing in your e-mail address (users registered in 2009 or before have to type in their username) and your password on the top right part of the opening page. After successful log in you can see your e-mail address or username, and ’YOUR RESERVATIONS’.
b) You can choose the performance by using the menus or the ’search’ function, but you have the possibility to look for them using the ’Calendar of shows’ as well. If you managed to find the performance, you can read some information about it, and see the venue and available dates of the event. After clicking on the convenient date, you can continue the reservation. If the system doesn’t allow you to click on the date, the reservation is impossible – you can read information about the reason as well.
c) On the next page you can choose the tickets. There are events where you only have to type in the number of the tickets needed, because those are standing tickets or the seating is in order of arrival. You can see also the limit of the tickets that can be ordered by one user. By the seated performances you can see the map of the auditorium and the list of the sectors including available tickets. You need to click on the name or picture of the sector, and after that you can click the white square that represents the free seats.
d) After choosing the seats click on ’Book/Buy’. You can put another performances into your ’Basket’ if you follow the instructions according to the points b., c. and d.)
e) After clicking on ’Book/Buy’ you can see the summary of the selected tickets and the amount of the purchase.

4) RESERVATION, PAYING AND PICKING UP THE TICKETS PERSONALLY   

If you would like to pay your tickets personally at one of our retail outlets, click on ’Book’. On the next page you can see the number of the reservation, the expiration-date and you can reach the list of all the retail outlets of Ticketportal.
ATTENTION! You can pick up your tickets at any box offices mentioned in the list by telling us the number of the reservation.

If the reservation is successful, you will receive a confirmation to your e-mail address that contains the number of the reservation as well. If you haven’t got this e-mail, please check if you have given the right address, etc.
ATTENTION! Booking tickets for the Budapest Operetta and Musical Theatre’s performances is NOT possible – at the request of the Theatre -, so you can only purchase tickets online or at our sales points, without reservation in advance.

5) ONLINE PAYMENT WITH CREDIT CARD   

You have the opportunity to pay for the tickets online with your credit card. We use the system of CIB Bank, you can read more information about it here. You can choose from several delivery methods: Shipping within Hungary in 3 days (2500 HUF), posting to abroad (5000 HUF), printing at home (HOMEticket) which is available free of charge by most of our events.After selecting the delivery method, click on ’Payment’, and you can see the website of the bank. Give the data of the credit card and click on ’Forward’. On the next page you can see a summary about the transaction. If you click on ’Payment’ you can start the transaction. After that you will arrive back to our website where you can see the number of your transaction. If you have chosen HOMEticket as delivery method, you can print the tickets on this site.
If the transaction is successful, you will get a confirmation by e-mail and e-invoice immediately. If you haven’t received this e-mail, please check if you have given the right address etc.If the transaction is not successful, the system puts your tickets among to ’your reservations’ automatically. In this case you can pick them up and pay them at our retail outlets listed on our website.

If you would like to buy tickets for one of the Budapest Operetta and Musical Theatre’s performances and the transaction was not successful, the tickets will be put back into our system as free seats, because reservation in advance is NOT possible by that organiser, at the request of the Theatre (first you get an e-mail about the reservation, but the expiration date will be 01.01.1900.)

6) HOMETICKET   

By online purchase you can choose HOMEticket as delivery method which means you can print your tickets at home. After the successful payment you can click on ’Print’, and if your browser allows pop-ups, you can see your tickets. You can read more information about HOMEticket here (HOMEticket)

7) LIST OF RESERVATIONS AND PRINTING HOMETICKET AGAIN   

You can check your bookings anytime, if you click on ’Your reservations’ after signing in our website. You can see this link under your e-mail address or username. You can cancel your reservations and check if the purchase was successful or not.

If you couldn’t print your tickets first time, you have the possibility to try it again on this site. You need to click on the reservation number, after that on ’HOMEticket’ and you can print the tickets again, but you need to explain the problem.

8) CHANGING YOUR ACCOUNT   

If you click on ’Change of data’ after signing in our website, you can modify your personal data anytime. You will get a confirmation about the modification in e-mail as well.

9) F.A.Q.− FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS   

I tried to order tickets on your website, but after selecting the seats I couldn’t continue the process.
If you would like to reserve tickets on our website, you need to sign up or log in. After successful login you can select the seats, click on ’Pay/Book’, on the next page choose the delivery method and you are able to pay online your tickets after clicking on ’Payment’. If you started the reservation without registration or login, you have the possibility to create an account now without canceling the process.

I didn’t manage to log in.
Users signed up before June 2009 need to type in their username, but those who signed up later have to type in their full e-mail address for the login. If you don’t remember your password or if it’s wrong, you can ask for a new one. You just need to click on ’I forgot my password’ and you will get an email with your new password.

I wanted to order tickets, and after giving the data of my credit card I didn’t get any confirmation, but the bank deduct the amount from my account.
The bank first locks the amount, and after that, if the transaction is successful –that means you got back to our website-, they transfer the money to us. If this doesn’t happen, your money will be unlocked on your bank account after some time– time depends on your managing bank. In case of the unsuccessful transaction, our system puts your tickets among ’your reservations’ automatically as non-payed, reserved tickets. In this case you can pay and pick up your tickets only personally, at our retail outlets. If you would like to retry paying for your tickets online, first you have to cancel the reservation and start the process again, but we can’t guarantee that other users won’t buy those tickets. For the Budapest Operetta and Musical Theatre’s performances you can’t book tickets in advance – so, if the payment is NOT successful, the tickets will be free again after a few minutes.

I have bought tickets through Ticketportal, but the date of the performance is not good for me. Is there any possibility to re-exchange my tickets or change the date of the event?
We can re-exchange the tickets or change for another date according to the organiser’s instructions or, when the event is cancelled. On our website there’s an ’Exchange’ function where you have the chance to upload advertisements and get in touch with other users in order to sell or buy tickets.

I tried to book tickets for the Budapest Operetta and Musical Theatre’s performance, but I didn’t manage to order.
At the request of the Budapest Operetta and Musical Theatre, the reservation in advance is NOT possible. For their performances you can buy tickets only by paying online or personally at our retail outlets.

I have booked tickets online, how can I pick them up?
If your reservation is successful, you’ll get a confirmation in e-mail immediately, which contains the data of the performance, the reservation number and the expiration date. You can pay and pick up the tickets only personally at our retail outlets (in Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland). You just give us the reservation number, and we can print the tickets. If you don’t pick up your tickets until the end (midnight) of the expiration date, they will be put back into our system automatically.

I have ordered tickets through Ticketportal, and after the transaction I realised that I chose ’Shipping within Hungary’ instead of HOMEticket or ‘Shipping to abroad’.
After the payment you can’t change the delivery method. The courier takes the tickets in 3 days to the address given at the registration. If you live in abroad, we can send the tickets to you by post, but this costs more than shipping within Hungary, so first you have to transfer to us the additional costs (2500 HUF, 10 Euro). The other possibility is, that we deliver your tickets to venue of the performance, so will be able to pick them up at the box office. You just have to let us know how you would like to get the tickets.

Can I pay with voucher (Accor, Sodexo, etc.)?
Yes, on our website you can see the list of our retail outlets and check where the vouchers are accepted.

I have ordered tickets online, and I chose HOMEticket as delivery method. How could I print my tickets?
After logging on our website you can see ’your reservations’. If you click on the reservation number, after that on ’HOMEticket’, you will have the possibility to print your tickets. Adobe Reader is necessary and check if your browser allows pop-ups. If you have already tried to print the tickets, now you have to give the reason why you want to print again.

I didn’t manage to print the tickets, because the printer is out of order. What can I do?
The tickets are available at any computer after logging on our website, or you can also save them instead of printing, and then transfer them to a computer with an operational printer.

I tried to print the tickets, but after clicking on ’Print’ nothing happened.
You can print the tickets if your browser allows pop-ups and Adobe Reader program is installed properly.

Can I order tickets by phone?
Reservation by phone or e-mail is no possible. You can book tickets online, except for the Budapest Operetta and Musical Theatre’s performances, because at the request of the Theatre, the reservation in advance is NOT possible.

I have bought tickets online, but I would like to change the data of the e-invoice I received in e-mail address.
In case of the online purchase you will receive an e-mail with an e-invoice that contains your data given at the registration. You have the possibility to request a new invoice in 3 days and for extra fee (2500 HUF, 10 Euro), according to the ’Terms and Conditions’. After signing in on our website you can change your data, so next time it won’t be problem.

Can I reserve tickets for the events abroad?
You can reserve tickets for the events organised in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland, if you can see the performance on their website. If you have booked tickets online, you can pay and pick up the tickets at all of our retail outlets in Hungary as well. ATTENTION! If you have ordered tickets for an event organised at O2 Arena (Prague), you can pick up your tickets only at our central office (1065 Budapest, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky street 49.).
