MOBILE BARCODE SOLUTIONS FAQ   
1) Consumer Questions
What is a MOBILticket?
Rather than having your paper ticket delivered in the post or queuing to collect it at the box office, you can have the ticket delivered to your mobile phone as a picture message. The MOBILticket contains a unique barcode and some accompanying text to describe the event.
You simply save the MOBILticket in your SMS messages inbox. Do not delete it until after the event as you will need it to get in.
How do I get in to the event?
At the venue, look for the signs for the special MOBILticket fast-track access point. To gain entry you simply retrieve the barcode from your messages inbox and present it to be scanned. The barcode scanner will read the barcode and permit entry via a link to a database containing all barcode tickets issued for this event. At this point, a paper ticket is automatically printed-out. This can be used for “pass-out” purposes.
Once scanned, the barcode cannot be scanned again – this makes it much more secure than any other current ticket system in operation. This also makes life hard for touts (scalpers), and makes more tickets available to the customer at the intended cover price.
How is my MOBILticket delivered?
The MOBILticket is delivered as an SMS picture message to the phone and will appear in your inbox like any other SMS message.
What does a MOBILticket look like?
A MOBILticket contains a unique barcode and some text to describe the event. When you open it, you will see, in most cases, a standard barcode like you see on virtually any product. Simply save the message on your phone for use when you need it.
When is the MOBILticket delivered?
The MOBILticket is delivered almost as soon as it is sent, as with any normal person-to-person SMS message. When it is sent will vary depending on the event organiser but you will normally be informed about when it should arrive.
What if I order more than one ticket?
A single barcode is delivered for each booking. You simply turn-up together to get into the event.
What if my phone is not compatible?
Any phone that can receive an SMS message can receive a MOBILticket. However, some handsets do not support SMS picture messaging, in which case you will receive a text-only message with the barcode number in the text. This number will be typed in at the event (rather than scanned) and from that point, the ticket will work in the same way as one with a barcode.
What do I do when I receive my MOBILticket?
This depends on your phone. In many cases, you simply don’t delete it but you may need to store the picture message in your phone using a Save option. At the event, you simply call-up the picture message to have the barcode scanned.
What if I don’t receive my MOBILticket?
If your phone is switched on and you have not received your MOBILticket by the end of the day, please first try switching your phone off and on. If you have still not received your mobiticket, then contact the box office.
What if I delete my MOBILticket by mistake?
Contact the box office providing your mobile number. A new MOBILticket will be delivered at no additional cost. The replacement MOBILticket will only be delivered to the original mobile number.
What if I change my mobile phone or it is lost or stolen?
Contact the box office providing your old mobile number, new mobile number, and original payment details. Your original MOBILticket will be cancelled and a new MOBILticket will be issued at no charge.
What does it cost to receive a MOBILticket?
The delivery of a MOBILticket is included in the ticket price. There is no charge to your mobile bill to receive a MOBILticket.
Will my mobile phone number be used for any other purpose?
Your mobile phone number will only be used to delivering your MOBILticket. Your mobile number will not be used for any other purpose or passed to third parties without your consent.
Can I forward my MOBILticket to a friend?
No. MOBILticket are non-transferable. At the event, your MOBILticket is scanned. Entry will be granted only the first time a MOBILticket barcode is scanned. Other security information such as mobile number and payment card details may be requested to prove ownership. Further attempts to gain entry with the same barcode may result in event security being called.
What happens if I forget my phone or my battery dies at the venue?
We are able to verify that you had genuine tickets using your mobile number and hence you can get the value you are entitled to. Contrast that to paper, where once the ticket is gone it is gone for good and you will not get the value you paid for!

7. Insured Ticket. No need for panic if the customer loses their MOBILticket. MOBILticket can be cancelled and reissued effortlessly.
8. Guaranteed Delivery. Customers do not have to worry that their ticket will be delivered in time or lost in the post.
9. Versatility. The MOBILticket can also be a promotional coupon, reward card or any function currently performed by conventional barcodes.
3) Sample Terms and Conditions
Some of the suggested terms and conditions you might wish to provide when using mobitickets are shown below:
1. When you purchase a MOBILticket from us you do so on the following terms.
2. You accept that the ticket is in the form of a unique barcode sent as a text message to your mobile phone.
3. You accept that the barcode and any accompanying text sent to you by us is the ticket and not the barcode in isolation from the accompanying text. Accompanying text includes any text stating the originating source of the barcode. This means that barcode with nonoriginal text is invalid.
4. You undertake not to send the MOBILticket barcode text message to anyone else. Doing so invalidates your MOBILticket without the right to a refund.
5. Your mobile number will not be passed to a 3rd party.
6. Refunds will only be given if the concert is cancelled or postponed.
7. If a concert is cancelled we will not be liable for transportation costs or expenses.
8. We reserve the right to refuse admission if you are carrying any weapons, bottles, cans or sharp or dangerous objects or if your MOBILticket has already been admitted, or if you are considered by the venue manager to be too intoxicated or likely to endanger yourself or others.
9. We shall make all reasonable endeavours to ensure your admission where you have purchased a MOBILticket from us but have either lost your mobile phone, or if the screen is unreadable for any other reason, and you give us sufficient notice to cancel your unique MOBILticket barcode.
10. Anyone attempting to gain entry with a barcode reported lost or stolen or cancelled for any other reason may be handed over to the police and may have their mobile phone withheld as evidence.
